Kanguva Movie Review: 'Kangua' was directed by Siva with Surya as the protagonist. This movie aroused the interest of everyone with the title. The film, jointly produced by Studio Green - UV Creations, has hit the theaters today. Now let's see what is the story of this movie where Disha Patani .. Bobby Deol .. Yogi Babu played the lead roles.
Story:
The story takes place between 1070 - 2024. An experiment is conducted on the brain of a 12-year-old boy abroad. In the middle of the experiment, the boy escapes. The related villain team is hunting for that boy. It is against this backdrop that the boy falls in love with Francis (Surya) in 'Goa'. Since then, Francis feels that there is an inextricable connection between him and that child.
Francis is in love with Angelina (Dishapatani). Both of them often clash because they have chosen the same profession. Frances feels that the boy she has been courting in Goa is in some danger. Thus the story takes place in 2024, and from there, it moves to 1070. It is a dense forest area on the coast. There are five regions namely Pranavadi Kona - Sagarakona - Kapala Kona - Himakona - Aranya Kona. People of five tribes live there.
Rudhira (Bobby Deol) from Kapalakona is ready to harm Pranavadi Kona hoping for money from foreigners. The reason for that is the anger that Rudhira and his three sons have on Pranavadi Kona. They set out to destroy the nest led by 'Kangua'. Even if the Kangua say that their region, their language, and their blood are the same, they do not listen. His goodness in saving a child against his own people is beyond comprehension. What will 'Kangua' do then? How does one fight enemies? What is the relationship between Kangua and Francis? is the story.
Analysis:
Siva - Adinarayana have made this story together. The story takes place between 1070 - 2024. In that period the story .. in this period the story .. will come out one after the other. In the 1024 story, Kangua fights to save a boy. Also, Francis Nana will be struggling to save a boy in 2024. What is the relationship between that period and this period? The director aroused interest in the matter.
It is a struggle for supremacy between wild tribes. The selfishness of the foreigners and the hatred between the natives are inherent in this story. A tribal leader, desperate for foreign bribe money, loses his three sons in the fight. From then on it becomes a revenge fight. Kangwa's struggle continues in two aspects to save his race... to keep his promise to his mother.
It is good to plan the story in two different periods. But there is a lack of clarity in telling these two stories.
Tribes related to the hill people.. roles have increased. It would have been better if some scenes were designed to make the story understandable. But more time was devoted to action scenes. It must be said that it is a bit difficult to bear that action scene with screams.
The costumes of the hill tribes seem to be heavy. The main characters are .. big artists. However not designing those characters properly can lead to dissatisfaction. Disha Patani's role in the roles related to modern times will be lightened. This beauty, who is known as a hot lady, could not be used as much in terms of glamour. Also, Yogi Babu's character seems bland.
Actors Performance:
Siva has good experience in making mass-action movies. But when it comes to this film, he seems to have lacked clarity. The story is less.. diluted.. the fights are more. The violence and bloodshed increased. As far as storylines are concerned, the locations chosen by the director are pleasing. The locations would have been extra strong if the story had been told well.
Construction values should not be compromised. Vetri Palaniswami's photography is a plus for this movie. Scenes in the background of forest, sea, and rain are impressive. Devisree Prasad's music sounds like o. The chorus that does not hear the lyrics .. the chorus that exceeds the scenes is a bit disturbing. Editing by Nishad Yusuf is ok. If you give some space to the story and try to make it understandable, if you work on connecting the emotions, I feel that this movie will definitely go to the next level. Due to their lack, other audiences feel a little dissatisfied, but there are chances that Surya fans will like it.
