Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey are the absolute protagonists of the first official images of the highly anticipated second season of The Last of Us. The first official images of the second season of The Last of Us have been released, the TV series starring Bella Ramsey and Pedro Pascal is based on the acclaimed video game of the same name developed by Naughty Dog for PlayStation consoles. After a record-breaking first season, the show will return to Sky and streaming only on NOW during 2025.
The Last of Us tells a story of survival that takes place twenty years after modern civilization was destroyed. Joel, a survivor, is hired to smuggle Ellie, a 14-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone. What seemed like a small assignment soon became a brutal and harrowing journey, as both must cross the United States and depend on each other to survive.
The second season again stars Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey in the roles of Joel and Ellie respectively together with Gabriel Luna who plays Tommy and Rutina Wesley in the role of Maria. The already announced new entries in the cast are Kaitlyn Dever who will play the role of Abby, Isabela Merced in the role of Dina, Young Mazino will be Jesse, Ariela Barer will play Mel, Tati Gabrielle in the role of Nora, Spencer Lord in those of Owen and Danny Ramirez who will instead be Manny. Catherine O'Hara will guest star in the new season. The Last of Us is written and executive produced by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann. The series is a co-production with Sony Pictures Television and is executive produced by Carolyn Strauss, Jacqueline Lesko, Cecil O'Connor, Asad Qizilbash, Carter Swan, and Evan Wells.
