Polimera 2 Movie Review: A small movie called "Ma Oori Polimera" released on OTT at the end of December 2021 created a big sensation at that time. The movie which was released without any expectations gave a good thrill to the audience. Remarkably, the movie was a super success with the background of tantric education and twists beyond that. With this... the makers immediately announced a sequel to that movie. "Maa Oori Polimera 2" starring actors like 'Satyam' Rajesh, Baladitya, Kamakshi Bhaskarla, and Getup Srinu in lead roles got great success. And.. let's know how this movie is through the review.
Polimear 2 Movie Story:
The story of "Polimera 1" ends when Komuraya, who everyone thought was dead, leaves for another town with his girlfriend Kavitha. And the story of "Polimera 2" starts right from there. While searching for Komuraiah, who has gone away from Jastipalli village, his younger brother Jangaiah also goes missing. The new SI in Jastipalli will take this case out again. In the process of catching Jangaiya, he suddenly gets to know Komuraiya's trail. And from there, What is the purpose of Komuraya doing these tantric studies? What is the link of this story to the Ananta Padmanabha Swamy temple? Actually, What is the mystery on the outskirts of Jastipalli? Komuraiya is the hero in this whole story? Or Vila? Maa Oori Polimera 2 Movie Analysis:
A crime suspense thriller movie means.. it should go beyond the prediction of the audience. This is also the main reason behind the success of Polimera Part 1. There is no shortage of such twists in "Polimera 2" as well. Since this is a sequel.. the director did not take any time to go into the story. The story of this film starts from the very first shot. It is indeed a commendable thing. And when the character of Komiri enters, the story will run. The story goes on and on without allowing the viewer to turn his head anywhere. In fact, it is the strength of any film. But.., the story of "Polimera-2" being bigger has become a strength, but also a weakness. No matter what genre, no matter how big the story, Cinema is just an entertainment medium.
There may be no need to fix a particular format template to tell the story here. But.., the story should be able to control the mood and mind of the audience. The director of this film made a small mistake here. He went away telling the story he wanted to tell like a book narration. With this, Audien has no time to carry that feeling. That does not mean that the story of this film is not interesting. To a good point.. the director added a good narration. However.., the major minus of this film is the lack of narration break points in the middle. If this one thing is missing, "Polimera-2" has nothing else to criticize.
After completing the first half with a good high voltage experience, the expectations on "Polimera-2" will increase even more. Here too the director maintains the same tempo. By the time the main conflict point in the story is revealed, Komiraiya's character will have traveled a lot. From an ordinary auto driver, Komuraiah goes to the roots of Ananta Padmanabha Swamy in Kerala. In fact, only the main character is elevated in a story like this. But.., the way the director has involved every character in this movie is amazing. Even if we do not remember any small character lead, It is difficult to travel with this story. So.. the audience who wants to watch "Polimera-2" should watch "Polimera-1" first. In this crime suspense thriller genre movie, the director took some risk by giving more priority to emotions. If you can feel this too, you will definitely like “Polimera-2”.
Actors Performance:
"Satyam" Rajesh is a very good actor than all our so-called star heroes. He has the ability to express every emotion well. For such a good story, "Satyam" Rajesh became the main character. The way he acts in powerful sequences is amazing. With such good stories, Rajesh can continue as a hero. And.. in "Polimera-2" Rajesh must talk about the heroine Kamakshi Bhaskar. In the sequel, Lakshmi's role got a good reception and she exploded with her performance. And Getup Srinu also acted well in the role of Balija. Not only them, but every character in this movie has a link to the story.. they all had to act great. The director's vision has to be appreciated in this whole matter. However.., the screen space for Baladitya's role is very little due to the story.
Technology Performance:
Cinematographer Kushender Ramesh Reddy is the hero in the technical department of "Polimera-2". The way he captures the visuals to match the mood of the story is amazing. Especially the forest visuals in Kerala are amazing. It is no exaggeration to say that such natural visuals have not been seen in any movie lately. Upender Reddy also became super successful as an art director. Gani's background score is impressive. Srivara's editing, which is not very experienced, seems okay in terms of work, but in controlling the director, it seems that it has fallen back a bit. No matter how much is said about director Anil Vishwanath, not enough. Not only as a storyteller but also as a director, Anil has a good spark. If he maintains this tempo, he is sure to join the ranks of top directors soon. Finally, the production values are pleasing.
