Family Star Movie Review: Vijay Devarakonda is a star who explodes when he gets a good story. Parashuram is a technician who gives good output if a good star is found. The movie "Family Star" was made after Geetha Govindam in the combo of both of them. Let's know through this review how "Family Star" looks like a promising project with promotions.
Family Star Movie Story:
Govardhan (Vijay Devarakonda) is an ordinary middle-class boy. Carrying all the family responsibilities, he spends his time finding happiness in it. Indu (Mrinal Thakur) who comes to pursue PhD at Central University makes an entry into Govardhan's life. Govardhan, who does not like outsiders to come into his family, keeps it away first. But..., later he falls in love with her and joins her family. However, an unexpected incident happens when Govardhan reveals his love. From there, Govardhan's life changes. Who is this? Why did Govardhan come to life? What is the twist between the two? The rest of the story is about how the couple eventually met!
The Family Star Analysis:
"I love you is not something to say to one person.. It is to say to the whole family". This one dialogue is enough to tell how much Parasuram worked hard for “Family Star”. There are many such wonderful dialogues in the movie. Parashuram pen has been successful. While Parasuram did his magic.. Vijay Devarakonda and Mrinal Thakur were impressed with their performance. So many perfectly executed families have raised the level of the star. Especially the way it shows the family values that we are forgetting is amazing. Although there are some moments here and there that do not reach the logic, they do not disturb much in the emotional journey.
The director took a lot of time to establish the character of the hero in the first half. However.., there too the comedy is generated well and seems to have taken off smoothly. When Mrinal entered the story, the family star got on a good track. Especially some scenes between Vijay and Mrinal. It can be said that casting Mrinal as the heroine was a much better decision. She added some freshness even in some simple scenes. This is a plus for the first off. And.. the ending of the first off with an expected twist also engaged the audience well.
Family Star Movie Second of all Vijay's one-man show. Vijay Devarakonda got more screen time for the sake of the story.. the rowdy hero got angry. It can be said that Vijay's performance with settled timing is more superb than "Geethagovindam". If not.. Mrinal's character is very dull and the movie feels a bit slow. Exactly.. at the same time, Jagapathi Babu's character reveals the conflict point.. increasing the pace of the director's story. From there, the climax is impressive and with Mrinal's emotional acting at the end, Family Star is able to stand as a good film.
Actors Performance:
Vijay Deverakonda's acting as a middle-class boy is unmatchable. Vijay has been saying this since before. This is our story, a story in all our homes. As Vijay is a man who has seen all that pain.. Govardhan got absorbed in the role. Especially in the scenes with family emotions, very mature acting is appreciated. There is no need to talk about Mrinal's level as an actress. She is that range in beauty too. The rest of the cast like Jagapathi Babu, Vennela Kishore, and Prabhas Srinu seemed okay. But.. if more attention was paid to Vennela Kishore's track in the second off... it would have been a best comedy workout.
Technical Department:
Regarding technical aspects, Gopi Sundar is completely disappointed with the songs. The background looks okay. KU Mohanan's cinematography looks alright, but the editing could have been crispier. If not.. like mass movies.. such emotional journey movies will not have a chance to get many cuts. So.. in the screenplay order itself.. the editor has to travel. This is what happened in Family Star.
On the whole film.. the production values have not decreased even in a single aspect. Dil Raju should be congratulated on this. Finally, director Parasuram again showed his mettle. This director, who has been successful till now in capturing sensitive emotions, has also succeeded in the case of Family Star.
Last word: Family Star.. a movie to watch with family
