The latest photos from the set of the fourth season of The Witcher reveal Liam Hemsworth as Geralt of Rivia. In October 2022 it was announced that the star of the show Henry Cavill would step away from the role and would be replaced by Hemsworth, the brother of the more famous Chris, the Thor of the MCU. While we still don't have many official details on how or why this happened, we finally have our first look at what Hemsworth will look like as Netflix's witcher. And from these first photos, he seems to be very similar to Henry Cavill, perhaps there has been an outfit change, but the white wig is the same.
The leak comes from the photo agency Metro and SplashNews and reveals some shots of Liam Hemsworth in the role of the character, as well as some more "action" shots, although it is not 100% clear whether the latter is Liam or his stunt double. In any case, there are shots of the actor in more "casual" Witcher clothes and shots in which we see him in armor. There are also some shots of Anya Chalotra as Yennefer of Vengerberg. You can see the images from the set here.
The fourth season of The Witcher does not yet have a release date. It is assumed that it will arrive next year.
