Mangalavaram Movie Review: Suspense thrillers and horror suspense thrillers are nothing new to the industry. Many movies are coming every year. However, in the way of filming, Expectations are met. Ajay Bhupathi-Payal Rajput combo's horror suspense thriller 'Mangalavaram' has had huge expectations from the beginning. With the trailer, those expectations have increased. Did the movie meet the expectations of the audience? Has Ajay Bhupathi succeeded in maintaining the suspense? Or not?
Mangalavaram Story:
That is a village, The name of that village is 'Mahalakshmipuram'. An unknown person writes on the wall of a building in the village that two people from the village had an illicit relationship, As a result, the couple commits suicide on Malachamma's favorite Tuesday. Everyone thinks that they committed suicide because of their writings. However, S.I Maya (Nandita), who is new to the village, strongly believes that these are not suicides but murders. They want to conduct a postmortem on the dead bodies. However, Prakasam Babu (Chaitanya Krishna), the landlord of the village, prevents this. A few days later another couple committed suicide. With this, Maya conducts a postmortem in front of the entire town. What was found in the post-mortem? What does Shailu (Payal Rajput) have to do with these suspicious deaths? So who is Madhan (Ajmal Amir)? What do they have to do with that story? That is the original twist...
Analysis:
As a director, Ajay Bhupathi is proving himself in every movie. He is showing variations in the story from movie to movie. Such stories are not new in Telugu. However, Ajay Bhupathi was one hundred percent successful in making the story suspenseful. He is the only one who can take an old story from a new perspective. This movie also revolves around a lady. At one point in the movie 'Mangalavaram', the lady is the villain. Ajay has taken special care in the matter of screenplay... One can see every frame.
Performance of actors:
Gestures are more important in horror suspense thriller movies. The acting of the actors is what makes the movie go to the audience. Everyone who acted in this movie did amazing. Payal Rajput, Nandita Shweta, Ajmal Amir, Ajay Ghosh, Ravindra Vijay, and Chaitanya Krishna lived their roles. We see that on the screen. From the moment the film starts, we get immersed in the characters. We see the characters on the screen, not the actors and actresses.
Technical Category Performance:
It can be said that the background music is the highlight of this movie. Ajanish Loknath scares us with his background music in some scenes. The camera work has something to say about itself. Every scene moves before our eyes like a reality. Any shot feels like a masterpiece. And, when it comes to editing.
