Aavesham Movie Review: Most of the movies coming out of the Malayalam film industry this year are superhits. Some of them have already been dubbed and released in Telugu. Recently, a movie called Avesham with Fahadh Faasil as the hero has come before the audience. Jithu Madhavan, who directed the movie Romancham, which was released on OTT last year and impressed the Telugu audience, has also directed this movie. Touted to be an action comedy entertainer, the film is produced by Nazria Nazim - Anwar Rashid under the banner of Fahad Faasil and Friends - Anwar Rashid Entertainments.

The film stars Fahadh Faasil in the lead role, Hipster, Mithun Jai Shankar, Roshan Shanawas, Midhutti, Sajin Gopu, and Mansoor Ali Khan in pivotal roles. Music for the film is composed by Sushin Shyam, while cinematography and editing are handled by Sameer Tahir and Vivek Harshan. The film, made on a budget of ₹20 crore, is running towards the collection of 100 crores. In this background, we present you this Malayalam movie review in Telugu.

Aavesham Movie Story:

Most of the youth from Telugu states go to places like Hyderabad, Vijayawada, and Visakhapatnam to study, while the youth from Kerala mostly go to places like Bangalore and Chennai to study. So BB (Mithun JS), Santhan (Roshan Shanavas), and Aju (YouTuber Hipster) from Kerala come to study at an engineering college in Bangalore. They don't know each other before but after going there they become very close. Unintentionally ragging causes great humiliation.

But thinking that this has happened due to lack of local support, they look for such a person in bars and wine shops, thinking that if we have a local dada or gunda to support us, everything will be fine. There they meet Ranga (Fahd Faasil), a Malayalee local. With his help, they take revenge on Kutty and the gang for ragging and humiliating them. With this they wasted time and failed in the subjects, the executive director of the college gave a warning that if they returned with goons, they would be expelled from the college.

But on the one hand, contact with Ranga leads to unpredictable situations. Circumstances arise where Ranga has to kill them. But why does Ranga actually want to kill them? Have they passed their studies or not? What did Ranga do to them? If you want to know such things, you have to watch the movie on the big screen.

Aavesham Movie Analysis:

The film revolves around the intervention of a rowdy named Ranga in the problems of three Malayali students who came to study in a college in Bangalore and what happens after that. The movie progresses interestingly as the problems that start in college creep up into the personal lives of the students. Set in a college hostel with small jokes, the film turns colorful and exciting with the entry of Ranga and his gang. Who is Ranga? What is his background? The movie goes on to tell who his rivals are. They are telling us the whole life of Ranga just like they are telling three Malayali boys.

Jittu Madhavan, who made his mark with the thrill of his first film, has revealed his craft in the second film as well. A film like Full Meals with suspense from the beginning to the end has been brought before the Malayalam audience. This is a movie made according to the energy level of the youth and according to their vibe. A mix of comedy and action, this movie is a must-watch movie in the theater. There are fights in this movie, unlike the fight scenes of our routine movies.

Special mention should be made of the fight scenes before the interval and the fight at the climax. Although the scene of killing 100 people has been presented in many movies, the scene in this movie is the highlight. The first half was well brought to the audience with comedy after comedy without any lag. Compared to the first half, the second half seems a bit laggy. Many scenes seem unnecessary but the movie ends with a safe climax. In fact, this movie was made to target the youth. Aimed at the middle age group of 15 to 35 years, this movie can please the family audience as well.

Aavesham Movie Performance:

Fahad Fazil – Reintroducing the Fafa tagline, this film is a milestone in his career. He lived the role of a psycho-like don. The same energy from the first shot to the last shot. Being extremely hyper, he kept the audience in suspense as to what he would do next minute. He got excited in the fight scenes. Loud dialogue delivery and mass mannerisms are perfect for the role. And Sajin, who played Ranga's right hand, also acted excitedly.

Sajin shines in many scenes, surpassing even Fahadh. Sajjan's situational comedy makes everyone laugh in the theatre. Malayali Gamer – YouTuber Hipster, Mithun JS and Roshan Shanawas are the trio who crushed it. Thangam Mohan's role as a mother should be specially mentioned. The phone conversations between the characters of Ranga and Amma are both funny and thought-provoking.

Mansoor Ali Khan, Pramod Velianad, Ashish Vidyarthi, Pooja Mohanraj, Neeraja Rajendran, and Sreejith Nair have also done justice to their roles. When it comes to the technical team, Sameer Tahir's cinematography goes without saying. He took care, especially in the night scenes. Sushin Shyam – Songs and background music elevate the scenes. From start to finish the audience is taken on a roller coaster ride loop. Like in his previous films, Sushin elevates many scenes with his music. In the case of the second half, some scissor work had to be done on the editing table.

Summary

Overall, this Avesham movie is an entertaining action comedy following the commercial formula. A movie that can be enjoyed tremendously if watched together with Friends Gang.
